Kapuso actress Rhian Ramos describes her spoiled-brat character in comedy-drama Sossy Problems: “Hindi niya na-experience yung masabihan siya ng, ‘No!’ So sanay siya na lahat nakukuha niya… Wala siyang capability na ganun na mero'n tayo. Parang pag narinig nating, ‘No!’ ibang choice yung gagawin natin. Pero yung sa kanya, hindi. ‘Ito yung gusto ko!’”
Rhian Ramos plays one of the four glamorous, rich girls in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2012 entry, Sossy Problems.
Directed by Andoy Ranay, the comedy-drama tackles the idiosyncrasies of the upper-class—specifically the vain and status-conscious elites who speak in mixed English and Tagalog or “Taglish.”

Her Style In Avel Jeans
October 15, 2012 by Nasia C.
I’m sure you all know by now who our newest Avel Jeans endorser is (if you’re not living under a rock!). She’s none other than the alluring and bubbly actress, Rhian Ramos! Here she is rocking one of the newest pairs from the Avel Jeans Japan Series- the Shibuya jeans.
A white and denim combination has always been a clean and classic look, that’s why the look was used for Rhian’s Avel Jeans photo shoot. Go minimalist by pairing your Avel Jeans pair with a white top and statement heels (or accessories), just like Rhian.

PEP REVIEW: Rhian Ramos is the sassy and spunky Kontrabida Girl
Abby Mendoza
Wednesday, March 14, 2012 @ 01:18PM
Nobody. Makes. Me... Sampal!
Rarely does a villain seize the hearts of viewers. As Filipinos love its teleserye protagonists to move them to tears, so does it find an effective antagonist in a ruthless, spiteful character—one that would not hesitate to give the lead character a compelling slap in the face or a good catfight replete with all that hair yanking.
Basically, a "bida" is pitiful as a "kontrabida" is loathed with fervent passion.
Director and writer Jade Castro's My Kontrabida Girl exactly toys with the stereotype of the ultimate "kontrabida." It succeeds more as a comedy than a romantic flick as it centers on how its main character, a teleserye kontrabida, loses her knack for being the meanest, most despicable teleserye villain on Philippine primetime television.

Rhian Ramos and Aljur Abrenica back with a vengeance
They have not been very visible in the media for sometime, and many are writing them off as washed up screen stars.
Wait, what is this thing we see onscreen lately? They have a movie…and together?
Oh my! Has GMA Films gone mad? Why put these two together in a movie?
This may be a brilliant move of GMA Films. Bring together two of the country’s most talked about personalities, at least, recently, and the screen will have an explosion!
Rhian Ramos and Aljur Abrenica star in a romantic-comedy, My Kontrabida Girl.
And guess who the film outfit signed to direct it? Jade Castro who stirred a recent hit among indie fanatics with his Zombadings!
Well, everyone is anticipating that My Kontrabida Girl would be as funny. He said it would also be a heartwarming film. Filled with unexpected twists and endless laughs, this offering is the perfect avenue for Rhian and Aljur.
Making this movie extraordinarily special are actors who add spice to Rhian and Alger’s characters. And they are Jake Vargas, Bea Bienne, Chari Solomon, Mommy Pala boy, Kevin Santos, Enzi Pineda, Self Cadayona, Ken Chan, Bela Padilla, Gwen Zamora, Sabina Santiago and Bella Flores.
In the film, Rhian breathes life to the character of Isabel Reyes who is the infamous soap opera villain in the country. Everyone simply loathes Isabel who makes her the most condemned personality in the world of television.

My Kontrabida Girl - Synopsis
Cast Info
Rhian Ramos as Isabel
Aljur Abrenica as Chris
Bea Binene as Joyce
Jake Vargas as Poy
Synopsis
The country’s leading soap opera villainess is so effective at her job that people can’t stand her in real life! Isabel Reyes (Rhian Ramos), famed actress and soap star, is reviled in the public. And this is largely due to her ability to make audiences believe that she is ruthless and mean.
But after an old man saves her life, Isabel finds herself unable to bring her role to life. In an attempt to save ratings, her network advises her to take a leave and find her mojo.
Through research and conversations with former kontrabidas, Isabel finds Bella Flores - the meanest of them all. And what she learns is that for her to get her mean streak back, Isabel must find the person who has hurt her the most in her past. So she must go back to her childhood town and find a boy named Chris Bernal (Aljur Abrenica).
Chris is still living in the town Isabel left when she was a child. He is a struggling employee and gardener, who works for the resort that his aunt manages. Chris is a pushover, and a people-pleaser. In his bid not to step into conflicts, he often finds himself trapped in difficult situations, including one that involves two women he does not love.
Even Joyce (Bea Binene), Chris’ younger sister, asks him to stand up for himself. But the only person he can try to control is her - wanting her to stay away from relationships until she graduates from college. And this includes staying away from Poy (Jake Vargas), another resort employee.
So what happens when Isabel, in her need to regain her kontrabida spirit, comes barging back into his life? Will her need to hurt him as much as she remembers he hurt her backfire? Will her attempts to ruin him change when she realizes that she might still have feelings for him?
And will the Kontrabida Girl finally find her Leading Man?
